The 2025 season was a landmark year for Sister’s 1st!  From district wins to the world stage, Team 8513 consistently proved they could compete at the highest level.

Mount Olive District Event
Sister’s 1st kicked off their season with a commanding performance at the Mount Olive District Event. Their robot’s reliable autonomous routines and precision scoring earned them the Autonomous Award, recognizing their standout programming and strategy. Their efforts throughout qualifications paid off, as they were chosen as the #1 overall pick in alliance selections. Their alliance powered through the playoffs and secured their first district win of the season.

Warren Hills District Event
Building on their momentum, the team arrived at Warren Hills stronger than ever. Once again, Sister’s 1st dominated qualifications and was selected as the #1 overall pick for the second event in a row. They continued to shine in autonomous mode, winning the Autonomous Award for the second time. With tippy strategy and consistent performance, they went on to win their second district event, going back-to-back in a remarkable run.

Lehigh District Championship
At the Mid-Atlantic District Championship at Lehigh, Sister’s 1st held their own among the region’s best teams. They finished qualifications ranked 7th overall and were selected as an alliance captain. Their performance at Lehigh earned them enough district points to qualify for the 2025 FIRST Championship in Houston.

World Championship – Houston
In April, 10 girls from Villa traveled to Houston, Texas, to represent Sister’s 1st and compete with over 600 of the top teams from around the world. Competing at the FIRST Championship was the culmination of their hard work, and it marked Sister’s 1st as one of the top emerging teams in FRC. By the end of the 2025 season, Sister’s 1st was ranked in the top 10% of FRC teams worldwide and had earned the title of the #2 all-girls team in the world. Their journey—from local victories to the international spotlight—showcased their technical skill, leadership, and the power of teamwork. The future is bright for Sister’s 1st, and this season was just the beginning.
